Abstract

Complexes of sym-octahydro-10-chalogenaanthracene perchlorates with aromatic hydrocarbons, di- and triatomic phenols, naphthols, and aromatic amines can be readily separated in the solid state. Complex formation is clearly shown to lower the oxidative power of the heteroaromatic cations.
