Abstract

1,1'-Dialkyl-3,3'-di(2-quinolyl)-1,1',4,4'-tetrahydro-4,4'-biquinolines react with organolithium  and organo-magnesium compounds to form 1'-alkyl-2'-R-1',2'-dihydro-2,3'-biquinolines.
