Abstract

A method was developed for the synthesis of cis-10-hydroxy-1-methyl(aryl)-Δ2,3-octahhydro-4-quinolinones by the cyclization of 1-[cis-3-N-methyl(aryl)aminoacryloyl]-1,2-epoxycyclohexanes.
