New derivatives of 3,5-dibenzoylspiropiperidinium salts were obtained by the previously developed method of cyclization of Mannich methylidene monobases of arylaliphatic 1,5-diketones and their antibacterial activity was studied. The structure of one of the salts was determined by X-ray structural analysis. The study of the mechanism of action using the pDualrep2 reporter system showed that some compounds cause the SOS response in the bacterial cell.Downloads
